Kellogg established in 1897.  Their first factory was located in Highland Park, Il.   They moved about one year later to Chicago, Il. and moved several time in the Chicago area.   The Kellogg family sold controlling interests to ITT in 1951. The company retained the Kellogg name for years, until ITT added its name in front of Kellogg, "ITT Kellogg".  Later ITT dropped the Kellogg name altogether, sometime in the 1960's..   ITT was acquired by Alcatel,   Telephone sets acquired by Cortelco.

"Grabaphone" series

1905 - 1920's

First U.S. made telephone with the receiver & transmitter contained in a single unit, first cradle.    The unit is of a European style similar to the L.M. Ericsson Co. handset in use prior to 1905.
