Sunbeam introduced several models of electric fryers, cookers & skillets in the early 1950's. All of these early cooking appliances use the same mechanical & electrical design for heating the vessel as Sunbeams egg cooker, baby bottle warmer and the Coffeemaster series coffee makers during the 1950's. Notice the letter part of the model number indicate what the appliance is designed to be used for. See the tables below for detailed information.

CF	1952 -	Deep Fryer & Slow Cooker - 1500 watt - the base is made of metal with (4) plastic feet - the well is made of aluminum alloy - the outer cover is stainless steel - the lid is made of sheet aluminum with plastic knob - the basket is formed sheet aluminum - there is a light behind the heat control knob that shows when the cooker is at the desired temperature - maximum temperature is 425 degrees. This model is 12" wide x 10" high. The well is 8" wide x 5" high.
CF-5	1954 -	Deep Fryer & Slow Cooker - 1500 watt - same style/design as "CF" with upgrades - there is a light above the heat control knob that shows when the temperature is at desired heat - maximum temperature of 400 degrees

TCF-6	1960's	Deep Fryer/Cooker - 10" H & 11" W - 1600W - another upgraded version of the original "CF" model - maximum temperature 400 degrees - teflon coated cooking area
