My favorite Sunbeam mixer is the model 12 in the chrome finish, model 12C.  We have several attachments for our mixers, but rarely use them.   Having orange trees, we use the juicer attachment the most.   We have included on this page some information regarding the Sunbeam Mixmaster classic models, but there are several good web sites that cover in detail the entire classic series, so links to these web sites are listed below.

The Sunbeam Mixmaster was introduced in 1930 and became the most popular electric kitchen helper for the homemaker, it not only could mix or blend a mixture, it had attachments that would allow the homemaker to make juice, churn butter, grind coffee, mix a malt, Sharpen a knife, grind meat or vegetables and many other functions.

The Sunbeam Mixmaster was also manufactured in Australia starting with model 9B in 1948 and is still business today.    In 2003 the Australian Sunbeam company designed the "Mixmaster Professional" known in the USA as the "Heritage"

Collectors of  the Sunbeam Mixmaster models call the models from the first model up through model 12,  "Classic Models".   The Classic models all have a cast metal motor housing and advanced from a basic one speed mixer in 1930 to 12 speeds with the production of the classic model # 12 ending in 1967.   We have and use a white model 12 that sits on the kitchen counter.    Below are photos of some of the Sunbeam Mixmaster models.     Click here for the Sunbeam Mixer model & attachment page.

The above is the cover and inside cover of a model 7B user guide with 42 pages of information.   Notice all the attachments that were available shown on the inside cover.     Each model came with a user guide with instructions on how to use and service the machine.
